Why you need to start your fat loss program now if you want to look hot this summer

Want to look this hot this summer? Then don´t leave it any longer and start now.
I think why a lot of people fail to get the look they want on the beach or during the summer is because they don´t start their fat loss program early enough. The main reason I believe this happens is because they always underestimate how hard it is too actually lose a decent level of body fat.

Many people still think that they can just go to the gym a few times a week and start eating salads and the weight will just fall off but for the majority of the people this just isn´t the case. Also if you have been eating mostly what you want all year and are doing little exercise then trying to suddenly fit in all this extra exercise while completely changing their diet is just too much to handle. The result is yet another frustrating summer feeling body conscious and uncomfortable or finally hitting your target with the summer almost over while you have spent most of it sweating and on a very restricted

What is really the best workout for abs and a six pack stomach

Lets be honest there are thousands of so called best workouts for abs that claim to give you the hardest and most ripped six pack and most of them do work although probably some better than others but what is the best I hear you ask.

This is something I am asked on a regular basis and my answer is always the same ....

The best workout for abs doesn´t exist.

Having defined abs is all about low body fat levels not doing specific workouts for abs that just target this area. This is one thing that frustrates me when I see fellow personal trainers blasting their clients with loads of ab exercises to target their core.

If you think about your mid section is a variety of muscles and the main one that everybody can see is the rectus abdominus which is actually a large muscle divided by tendons. So when you get below 10% body fat the tendons are what become visible and create the washboard look. You can see this on everybody to some degree even if they haven´t done any ab

4 Push up Variations to build total body strength and look great doing it!!

So over the last 6 months I really haven´t been able to lift heavy free weights due to back and shoulder issues caused muscle imbalances in the body that have steadily grown worse as I have got older. This meant that I have turned to body weight training as my primary training plan to build muscle and strength. After nearly 20 years of using weights I felt a like I was starting again but I soon realised I was wrong and with a little creativity my body is now much stronger and functional than it has been for years.

Now I love push ups and have always wanted to do one arm push ups since I saw Stallone do them in the Rocky films.I am nowhere near this at the moment but have just picked up a copy of convict conditioning which claims to be able to teach you proper one arm push ups plus other bodyweight super strength exercises such as the one legged squat, the one arm pull up and probably the daddy of them all the one arm shoulder press up!!. If you love your body weight training an

3 of the best stomach exercises for men and women and not a crunch in sight

So if your bored of crunches or looking like an idiot in the ab rocker here are 3 of the best stomach exercises you can do for flat sexy abs that don’t require you to round your back and will work the whole of your abdominal region.

To avoid unwanted stress on the lower back area and cut down the possibility of injury but also get those abs working harder than ever before, it is important to do exercises that incorporate a straight back.

My strategy is to perform these stomach exercises in a circuit fashion just after a strenuous interval workout like those found in Turbulence Training that gives me a great ab workout and makes sure I keep my metabolism high to burn a extra body fat.

The first exercise is the ab wheel rollout. If you haven’t got one of these at home or the gym a small barbell with a 5 kilo round weight on each side does the trick. Start from a kneeling position with your body upright and your shoulders above your hands placed on the wheel or

5 Reasons Why your Struggling to Lose Tummy Fat

So your on the diet and your going to gym 5 times a week but you still can’t seem to lose your tummy fat. What is going on? Here are 5 reasons that may shed some light onto this frustrating dilemma.

1 - You only do cardio training

Cardio is for burning fat and weights are for building muscle. That’s the simple and flawed premise upon which countless men and women have built their exercise regimes. The fact is that weight training is an important element of any fat-loss plan.

Firstly just weight training on its own can burn over 400 calories per hour plus it elevates your resting metabolic rate (RMR) for hours long after you have finished training. (To explain quickly your RMR is basically the number of calories that your body burns when you’re sat on your sofa watching TV.)

On top of that, any weight-loss eating plan means you will lose muscle as well as fat. If you’re lifting weights to gain muscle, a greater proportion of your weight loss will come from fat. Weigh
